2011 EUSFLAT General Assembly and Board Elections

On the occasion of this year's Joint EUSFLAT-LFA Conference, a EUSFLAT General Assembly will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011. An important item on the agenda is the election of a new EUSFLAT Board for the period 2011-2013. There is one candidature for the board:

Cooperation Agreements with Other Soft Computing Societies

EUSFLAT has always sought good relations with other societies in the fields of fuzzy logic and soft computing. Already in previous years, EUSFLAT had agreements with some societies about mutually promoting each other and offering mutual discounts on membership and conference fees. We are glad to inform you that EUSFLAT now has cooperation agreements with the following four societies:

Members of all four societies are eligible for discounts on the EUSFLAT membership fee and discounts on fees at EUSFLAT conferences. In turn, all EUSFLAT members are eligible for discounts on the membership fees of the above societies and discounts on the conference fees of the meetings of these societies. Negotiations with other societies are in progress to extend this list of cooperating societies in the future.

IFSA-EUSFLAT 2009 Conference Proceedings in Conference Proceedings Citation Index

We are proud to announce that our efforts to include the Proceedings of the Joint IFSA-EUSFLAT 2009 Conference (Lisbon, Portugal, July 20-24, 2009) into the Conference Proceedings Citation Index were finally successful. This particularly means that all papers published in these proceedings are now visible in the ISI Web of Science®. After the Proceedings of the 5th EUSFLAT Conference (Ostrava, Czech Republic, September 11-14, 2007), this is already the second EUSFLAT conference whose proceedings are included in this important citation index. We are confident we will manage to include the proceedings of all further editions of our EUSFLAT conference into this index - which strongly upvalues our conferences and the papers published in their proceedings.
